Some days the garden can feel like wall-to-wall waxeyes, with the little birds fluttering around, showing off their pretty green heads and white eye-rings. A great wee mum, the waxeye or tauhou can pop out two broods of pale blue eggs in a season and hatch them in her cup-shaped nest slung like a hammock between branches.
Made from 3mm corton steel, designed to rust beautifully with the natural patina blending into the landscape. This will also give the birds a long time protection against the elements.
Simply hammer into your fence, post or a tree.
